Creamy Broccoli Tagliatelle

Ingredients

  • 1 broccoli (medium)
  • 3 garlic clove
  • 400 g tagliatelle pasta
  • 300 g creme fraiche (light)
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper (freshly ground)
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 0.5 tsp Salt

Method

  1. Gather all ingredients: broccoli, garlic, tagliatelle, crème fraîche, black pepper, and nutmeg.
  2. Cut the broccoli into florets and boil them in a saucepan of water for 5–7 minutes until tender.
  3. Peel and mince the garlic cloves.
  4. Heat a frying pan over medium heat with olive oil and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add the cooked broccoli to the pan with the garlic and sauté for 2–3 minutes to combine.
  6. Pour in the crème fraîche, milk, season with black pepper and nutmeg, and stir until the sauce is heated through. Once it os boiling, reduce the heat to low and cook for 20 min. Adjust the salt and add more nutmeg if you prefer a stronger note of it
  7. Cook the tagliatelle according to the package instructions, then serve topped with the creamy broccoli sauce.
